Vizio VA370M best cheap lcd television

Samsung LCD TVs offer outstanding picture quality so you can get the most out of your movies and TV shows. The 30,000:1 contrast ratio delivers amazing details in dark or bright scenes and the 8ms response time makes sure action scenes are realistic and smooth. Plus the integrated digital tuner is great for watching over-the-air HD digital broadcasts or connecting to cable/satellite service.

Have this LCD in the spare room for wife's workouts – she loves the unit – the right size at the right price! Picture is suburb, color with excellent depth and vivid clarity. Have use Samsung products in the past and have enjoyed all.
best cheap lcd televisions : LG 37LH40 37-Inch 1080p

I have had this HDTV for about 2 days now. I upgraded to the 37LH40 from an LG 30″ wide screen 720p/1080i CRT (tube).
Right away I noticed a huge difference in clarity/detail with this one in the 1080p mode. I have a PS3 (connected via HDMI), Xbox 360 (via component cable), Directv (HDMI) and a standard upconvert dvd player (via HDMI).
The difference between 60Hz and 120Hz could easily be seen when the store demos were scrolling baseball team logos sideways on a black screen. The 60Hz models were jerking the logos while the 120Hz models were MUCH MUCH smoother. I'm looking forward to watching NFL games this year on this LCD!
The only things I wish the 37LH40 had is a back-lit remote. The LCD screen comes close to the black color displayed on my previous HDTV tube model, but the blacks are a bit darker on the tube. Perhaps with some more fine tuning, I can get it right.
As far as the lack of a headphone jack/speakers, I don't use them on the tv. I play my sound thru a surround sound system via optical cable from the tv.
OVERALL, I'm very happy with the purchase. I gave up a bigger screen size to get the 120Hz model, which I think was worth it for what I will be using the HDTV for.
cheap lcd televisions : Best Cheap LG 32LH30

The LG 32LH30 32-Inch 1080p replaced a 720p 32 inch Samsung which I returned because of erratic sound quality. The LG provides a very clear picture for upscaled DVD movies and over the air digital signals. The speakers provide excellent sound for a small living room although the addition of a home theater system would substantially increase movie enjoyment. Standard definition signals also reproduce a stable clear picture. Colors are very good and the set provides sufficient tools to tweak the picture for personal preference. I have not used it for bluray as yet but HD from satellite is very good. The features of this unit described on the Amazon specifications list accurately describe its features and can be relied upon. I am not a hard core cinema/video buff but I cannot imagine that this unit will not satisfy most viewers who want a well priced midsized flat screen high definition TV. My five stars are based upon what I expect in similarly designed and priced units for a smaller room.
Best Cheap LCD Televisioins

My last television was a huge monstrosity that weighed so much that I'd have to find a muscle man to move it around. When it finally died on me, I was a little excited. The thought of a new television is quite thrilling! After doing a bunch of internet research and going to the local retailers to check out the new world of televisions, I decided that in my price range, this Samsung 26 inch TV was the best quality I could find. When the set arrived at my house, I was surprised that I could lift the box. Once it was out of the box, the sight of how sleek and slim it is nearly left me breathless. But what is most exciting about my new TV is the amazing picture quality. The colors are so vivid and vibrant. It's unlike anything I've seen before. Such crisp lines, such bright colors – has television always been this amazing and I've missed it? With a television this fantastic, I may not leave the house for a few weeks
Best Cheap LCD Televisions

When I first bought this TV it turned off and on constantly – after swapping out the smart power strip to which it was attached, the problem stopped. In its new state, this TV is really awesome – looks good, sounds good. My girlfriend, who can see colors better than me, thinks the picture quality is quite good. ——————————————- Bought this TV week ago off Amazon. It has turned itself off and on at least a dozen times now. I don't know what's wrong with it. I don't understand why Samsung can't make a TV that stays on when it is turned on. In case you're wondering – The power cord is snugly plugged in to the back of the TV, and the TV turned itself off even with the batteries out of the remote. It seems to be mostly be happening when the attached DVD player turns on.

The picture on this TV was stunning right out of the box. After a few minor adjustments it was as close to perfect as I could imagine. It came with the SQ01 panel and it would be hard to differentiate the color depth and quality from some of the plasma sets I looked at. The TV is in a very bright room and the matte screen cuts out glare with no picture degradation. The viewing angle is very good, though we are never more than 25 to 30 degress off center. The LCD this replaced did not have a very good SD picture so I wasn't expecting much difference with the Samsung. But it actually looks great, almost like HD. It also has separate settings for processing speed and anti-judder. I watch a lot of sports and barely noticed motion blur at 60hz and virtually none at 120hz. With this set I would see no need to spend more money for a 240hz option. The sound is very good for normal TV viewing. Its also internet ready with both USB and ethernet connections, though to do so via USB requires an adaptor that is not included. There is no S video connection so you may need some component cables to hook up older external equipment. UVerse is the programming source.
One thing about settings. This has a feature that can automatically adjust the picture to room brightness. The first night the picture suddenly got much darker in the evening, but only in Standard viewing mode. I reset the brightness but it would not hold the new settings once I left the menu. I spoke with Samsung and they had no idea why this was happening. So I read the manual one more time and it turns out this is due to a factory default setting in the Eco portion of the menu. You can either set the auto adjust to never go below a certain brightness level or you can turn it off completely, which is what I did. And that took care of it.
The last time I bought a LCD I continued to look around in case I found something better. That will not be the case this time as I am completely satisfied. Pilot shipping through Amazon was great. They delivered on time, set up the TV and swivel stand, and had everything working in 5-10 minutes.
