Did Steamworks

Hey the big news on Poptropica is that Steamworks Island was launched in early access for paid members to try out. It was much harder to do than several other adventures before. I also think it lasted a lot longer. There are plenty of puzzles and challenges all over the island. In Steamworks Island, there are no people there. When they departed they left all of the machinery behind and most of it still works. Near the beginning of the quest, you will meet a robot companion named Sprocket and he will help you out many times. While you're adventuring around the island, you will find a lot of dangerous plant monsters to battle and uncover a ton of secrets and small mysteries about what happened. I tried to play on my own for a while, but finally I checked out this awesome Guide for Steamworks Island.

Steamworks Island has a lot of different puzzles that you will need to try and solve as you go on your quest. A lot of the puzzles have three different levels. One puzzle that is kind of easy at first is the combination puzzle where you match dials that spin. But it gets hard to the end because the wheel spins so fast. These puzzles are much harder than on previous Poptropica islands.

My favorite places on Steamworks were the greenhouse, Sully's shop and garage, and the living quarters. I didn't like the Hub part because I thought it was hard to get around, especially on the big Hub wheel.

Secrets for Spy Island in Poptropica

Spy Island Tips

You will definitely need to have to find 3 captured agents in the clutches with the evil group B.A.D. — you need to save them from the correct order because every single provides the items important to take on the next recovery, or the mission's conclusion. Here will be the guidebook to just about every step from the solution, as the game does not provide any cutting corners. So you'll want to pay attention to the following guide to beat Spy Island to finish this quest.

Should you go left, towards the dock, you might be beaten up by the B.A.D guards there.

Go towards the Headquarters building, top floor, and speak to Director D on the spy agency. He'll inform you in the three missing spies and supply you with your Message Decoder.

You will come across several friendly spies who'll share details. The 1st guides you towards the Bistro, where you are going to require to obtain the fingerprint of the B.A.D. agent. To accomplish this, you may get yourself a job as a cook and steal the bad man's glass of wine. To escape with it, ascend by way of the hole inside the kitchen and jump along the ceiling light fixtures.

On the Eye Doctor, you might not be trusted by the doctor. Even so, the moment you have spoken to an additional agent, he will tell you how to take the eye test (choose the opposite, left to proper or up instead of down symbols) to show you happen to be a trusted agent.

Go upstairs and the medical doctor will let you within the secret spy laboratory. Get the particular Chameleon Fit that he's developed. When you happen to be standing still, you will be entirely invisible for your enemies.

Turn back for the dock, and climb up the roof, applying the chameleon suit to evade the guards (and dogs!) Enter the vent and make your way downstairs until you accomplish the locked vault. Go though the ceiling to rescue the agent inside of. He will knock out the guards and open the bottom door for you. He will also provide you with the Laser Pen, and a clue to B.A.D.'s evil program.

Go back towards the right, and you will get facts from another agent, who provides you the Secret File. Graffiti on the following developing will tell you the best way to read the message in it. (Somebody can't be trusted. It says “Don't trust Director D”)

Climb the developing with the electric shock fields (this takes careful timing) till you get to the attic. Cut as a result of the bars with your laser pen. The second spy is within and will give you his Grappling Bowtie, with which to get to tall locations. He will also provide you with the 2nd of 3 clue cards.

Go up towards the rooftops on Balding Avenue, and grapple left for the tall constructing, then left once more to avoid the guard. You are going to encounter a different spy around the roof, who will notify you to go Suitable on the other tall antenna. This leads to a greenhouse, exactly where the third spy is stuck a locked cage, which your Laser Pen won't cut. To open the cage, drop past the carnivorous plants (they bite) and locate the Cherry Bomb plant. You can release a Cherry Bomb in the tree, and it'll explode a short while afterwards. Shove it left onto the Trampoline Plant, and it is going to be thrown up greater. Climb up, steer clear of the plants, and push it left once more onto the second Trampoline Plant. This will bounce it up towards cage but you must climb nearly re-position it before it explodes. The released spy will offer you her UltraVision goggles, to ensure that you'll be able to see the laser beams around the B.A.D. hiding location. You also have the final clue about the spies' evil strategy.

(Towards left of the rooftop is the top rated with the brown constructing, wherever at one time there was a specific Nabooti mask hanging, which has nothing to complete with this island's story. You can't climb this developing from the Balding Aveneue street level.)

Go on the far proper, put on the goggles, and make your way through the lasers. Climb up the suitable side from the constructing and then move up and left till you are able to enter the hideout. (The lasers will knock you down a lot, but not hurt you.)

Make use of the wine glass with the fingerprint to defeat the lair's security system.

Director D has somehow gotten within the lair too, and you will use the three password codes (LASER HAIR REMOVAL) to reactivate the transporter to the laser satellite. Unfortunately, D can be a bald baddie himself. Follow him up for the satellite and will sic his mini-bot guards on you. Avoid the robot's zaps and lead it to some yellow power globe, which will send electricity through its plug and destroy it. 3 far more mini-bots will attack, and you will discover three additional globes (two at the top with the room, two on the bottom).

When his bots are destroyed, the evil director will begin zapping you with his flying control room. You'll have got to make use of the Bowtie to accomplish the best of his machine. Each time he flies into the ceiling to knock you loose, he will damage his machine. Following 3 crunches, he is defeated and is arrested. You are promoted to a Director and obtain the island medallion.

Poptropica Counterfeit Island Walkthrough

Counterfeit Island is the 10th mission in the well-liked web-based adventure, Poptropica. It was launched to Early Access players on December 21, 2009 and became readily available to everybody in early January, 2010. The island's story is that a notorious art thief has hatched a plot to steal some very important art from the island's museum, but no one knows who the thief is or when the heist will happen. It's up to you to save the day. Along the way, you'll meet lots of interesting characters and encounter many twists and turns in the mystery of the stolen art. This is a step-by-step walkthrough of the entire quest with all the cheats for Counterfeit Island.

Your Arrival On Counterfeit Island

Follow the map to Counterfeit Island. You'll arrive by balloon next to the museum. Your first stop is going to be Downtown. Start walking right and observe the signs. When you arrive, the first store you'll see is called Bobo's Clown Store. Go inside. You'll see plenty of balloons, all in different colors, around the store. Select a green balloon and then walk outside the store.

Now we're off to the country side. Proceed to the right and run to the end of the zone to go there. Walk a bit further right and you will find crying boy as well as a young lady holding a red balloon. You are able to perk him up by giving him your green balloon. Click on him to give it over. When he tales it fom you, he'll lift up into the sky. Poor little dude! Don't worry about balloon boy for now. Head back to the left to go Downtown and then run all the way to the left of that zone and go into Main Street. When you arrive at Main Street, go inside the Web Browser Internet Cafe. There's a guy who looks like a tourist and has a hat and camera. Go up to him and talk to him. He explains that he lost his tickets for the underground tunnel tour and that if you can help him find them he will give one to you. While you're here be sure to look at the TV behind you. You'll see balloon boy flying way up high in the sky. He's on the news! Next, walk outside the Internet cafe and then run to the Downtown zone to the right.

Now that you're here, look around and find the grabage can that is just to the right of the tunnel tour entrance. Click on the garbage can and a screen will appear showing all garbage inside. You can rearrange the garbage pieces by clicking on them and dragging them. Try to move them all away from the center of the can. Soon, you'll reveal the lost tickets that are buried inside. Click on the tickets to pick them up and put them in your backpack.

Now run back to Main Street and the Internet Cafe. Head inside the cafe and go to the tourist who lost the tickets. Find the tickets in your backpack and click on Use to give them to him. The man who lost the tickets will be really happy that you found them and will give one to you as a reward.

EXTRA: Before you go on the underground tunnel tour, stop at Bobo's clown shop to pick up a second balloon. This can make part of the tunnel tour easier but it is not required.

Return to the Downtown area and walk up to the entrance of the tunnel tour. You will see a woman with a green hat standing right in front of the entrance. While you are standing near her, open your backpack and find the ticket. Click on the “Use” button on the ticket You're ready to begin the tour. Click on the gate to the entrance behind you to start it.

Just keep moving along the single pathway in the tunnel tour. When you get to the bottom, you'll see a lightbulb hanging down from a cable in the middle of the tunnel. Jump up and grab the cable and then climb to the ceiling. Over to the right, you'll see a torn piece of the picture lying on another cable. Of course this is another piece of the torn picture that you are collecting all over the island. Once you're at the top of the cable, jump off to the right. When you pass over the torn picture, you'll pick it up. Keep following the main tunnel until you see a stone staircase heading up out of a door. Walk up the staircase to go outside and end the underground tunnel tour.

The Secret Guy

When you wrap up the tour and head out the exit, there's a guy with sunglasses and an overcoat waiting just outside. Click on him and you'll hear his tale. He'll then ask you to get a job over at the island museum and he wants you to meet back with him at this location later tonight. Now head up the sand to the right and you'll see another torn piece of the picture. Grab this picture piece. The third torn picture piece is over to the left on top of the mast of the fishing boat. Go over there and pick it up. Now that you've got both the torn picture pieces from here, go back to the right and go to Main Street and then walk into the museum.

Inside the Museum

Talk to the security guard inside the museum and he will tell you to go speak with the assistant curator. The assistant curator is up the stairs right above the entrance. Go up to the top of the stair case and talk to him. He'll tell you that he needs some help with some paintings. They have been placed in the incorrect spots and he needs you to help put them all in the right places. In each of the four wings, you'll be able to remove one painting from the wall and carry it to a different wing. This guide tells you where to put all the paintings so that they are in the correct places.

  1. The painting in the cubism wing goes into the impressionism wing.
  2. The painting in the impressionism wing goes into the expressionism wing.
  3. The painting in the expressionism wing goes into the realism wing.
  4. The painting in the realism wing goes into the cubism wing.

Now that you've got all the paintings placed correctly, walk back to the stairs and talk with the assistant curator. He'll hire you on the spot and tell you to start the training. Follow him into the Lab to begin. Speak to him and then he'll tell you to select a station to begin your training. Choose the first desk and click on it. Use the X-Ray device and drag it over each of the paintings until you find the painting with the sketching underneath it. You can use the arrows at the top of the screen to move between the different paintings. Then you click on the one you think is the real deal.

In the next test, you'll use a magnifying glass to try and figure out which painting is a fake. Take a peek at the corners of each painting and locate the signatures. One of the signatures is slightly different than all of the others. The one with the different signature is the forgery. Good job!

The third test is a photograph and you need to click on the area that shows it is a fake. Look up on the top left where the moon is. Click on the dark side of the moon. If this was really a picture of the moon, there would be no stars on the dark side of it.

The next step to to go to the desk on the right, which is where the staff performs chemical analyses of paint samples. In this training exercise, you select a paint sample and then it will be placed inside the beaker. You'll see a red bar go across the screen. When it reaches a square, it will light up with a color. Click on that color beaker above while the square is lit to add it into the test solution. If you're fast enough, you'll see a green check appear over the square. Repeat this exercise until all four of the squares are done right. Now repeat the whole process for the remaining two paint samples. Once you conclude this experiment, your training is finished and the assistant curator will give you a key to the supply room.

Leave this room and then walk right following the signs that direct you to the statue room and then into the security office. Walk left past all of the statues and follow the sign that directs you to the security office and supply closet. Walk all the way to the left and you'll find the door to the supply closet. Use the key from your backpack to unlock it and get inside. In here you'll see that sixth piece of the torn photo. Now that it's put together you'll see it forms a picture of the head of a gargoyle.

Now walk back to the right and go back through the statue room. Follow the sign to the main hall and then exit the museum. You'll see that night has fallen. Head left and go to the city docks. The mysterious guy in the hat and sunglasses will still be standing where you left him. Go back inside the tour through the gate. Walk through the tunnel until you get to the wooden ladder. Climb the ladder and then click on the hatch at the top. The hatch cover will appear on screen and it has a gargoyle face on it. Use the mouse to move all the pieces on the hatch to match the version from the torn picture pieces you collected. All of the features have to match the picture exactly. When you're done, the hatch will open and you can proceed up through it.

You will appear back inside the museum supply closet. Use the key again to unlock the door and then walk out into the hallway. Be careful because the security guard can be seen pacing back and forth inside the security office. Wait for her to go by and then run past the window all the way to the statue room door. Go inside and then move across the room carefully, avoiding the laser beams. To avoid being spotted by a laser beam, hide behind either the plants or statues. Once you arrive at the far end of the room, exit to go to the main museum hall.

Next walk up and left until you get to the spot where the painting of the Scream is hanging. Click on the top of it and you will jump up onto the light hanging above it. All of the sudden the museum alarms will go off and the police will arrive. You've been caught red-handed! You'll be placed in jail and then questioned by the police. The first thing you have to do is undergo a lie detector test. It's very easy to pass. Next you'll be invited to speak with the chief inspector back inside the museum office.

While you are walking back to the museum office, go into the clown shop. Here you will see the security guard from the museum. Click on him to ask him why he left his post and you'll get his time card. After you get it, head to the museum and go up to the security office. When you're inside the office, head over to the right of the room and click on the large computer. Because you have the time card that the security guard gave you, you'll know where to look when reviewing the footage. You will see the mysterious guy appear and walk up to the painting. You can get a print out of the security camera footage by pressing the print screen button on the computer. Then go over and talk to the investigator. Her advice will be to show the picture around to the citizens of the island. Walk out of the museum and head back to the outside of the clown shop.

Once you get to the front of Bobo's clown store, show the printout from the security camera to the mime on the left. The mime will pretend to play music, which is a clue that the mysterious guy you're looking for is hiding in the jazz cafe. Go right and then enter the cafe. When you arrive inside the cafe, walk to the right and the mysterious man will be there. As soon as he sees you enter, he'll make a run for it. Follow him out the door to chase after him.

The chase scene begins here and you'll be riding a motorized scooter in your attempt to catch the bad guy. You don't really need to catch him during this part. All you need to do is avoid the different obstacles that appear in the road as you go by. After about a minute of chasing, you'll both end up at the docks. The thief will escape in a waiting motor boat but will drop a key card which you will pick up.

SPECIAL: keep an eye out in the beginning of the chase for Balloon Boy. He will appear up in the sky between the buildings in the background.

Now you want to head over to the museum. Once you enter, you'll see the assistant curator standing there. He's waiting with a package that was addressed to you. When you open up the package, it reveals a painting of “Starry Night” by Vincent Van Gogh. And there is also an X-ray device inside. Open your backpack and find the painting. Click on the examine button to inspect it. Pull the device over the painting and it will reveal a hidden message from the curator telling you to come to the Pop Art Museum on Early Poptropica island. This is a fun part where you now have to leave Counterfeit Island and go to Early Poptropica. Go outside the museum and get back into your balloon. Click the balloon to travel and then when the map appears, choose Early Poptropica as your destination.

Walk left to the Pop Art Museum and then go inside. Walk a little bit to the left and you'll find an older woman wearing purple clothes. Click on her to hear her story and then she will give you a key. Go back outside the museum and get on your balloon again. Now return to Counterfeit Island.

You'll return to Main Street in Counterfeit Island. When you get there, jump down out of the balloon and walk to the right. Keep going until you get to the Countryside. The inspector's house is located here and the key to the door that the Curator gave you will let you get in. Head upstairs and you'll see a painting hanging on the wall. Click on it to remove the canvas and you'll see that it's hiding the stolen painting from the museum! But then the lights will go out and you'll be knocked unconscious.

Once you come to, you discover that you're deep underground in some sort of secret hideout. Both you and the mysterious thief will be tied to chairs and you are captives of the Black Widow, the world's greatest art thief. The Black Widow leaves the room and then you learn about how you were set up because the mysterious guy tells you his story. He'll tell you to move your chair close to him so that he can untie you. To move your chair, click and drag your mouse to the left. Inch by inch, you'll get a little closer each time. When you get close enough, you both are free from your bonds. The mysterious guy has an idea that you should both go after the Black Widow. Head out of the room to the right.

You'll show up in the next room of the hideout. Run all the way to the left and then jump up on the boxes while avoiding the guards. One of the most difficult guards to get past is the one walking on one of the platforms above. You need to wait until he gets all the way to the left and then turns and starts walking right. Jump up immediately and follow him a few steps until you see a couch. Jump onto the couch and the springs will propel you to the platform above and to the left. Here you'll see a special access panel. Use the key card you found when you were chasing the mysterious guy before to open the door. Now step through the door to enter the last room. Then walk to the left to begin the final confrontation with Black Widow.

The guy will move to the left and climb up onto a giant platform that is operated by a handle. Your task is to raise him up to the top by turning the handle. But once he does that, the Black Widow will start dropping art onto the ground, destroying it. You need to catch the artwork so it's not destroyed but also keep turning the handle on the platform. This is certainly one of the hardest boss fights in Poptropica. You'll see a counter on the screen when the Black Widow starts breaking the art. If more than million worth of art is destroyed, you'll have to start over the battle. But after every four pieces you save, she'll get really mad and then you have a few seconds to run over to the platform to turn the handle. However you need to move very quickly because after just a couple of seconds, she tosses a bomb at you. You need to avoid getting hit by the exploding bomb and then return to the middle to try and catch four more pieces of art. Keep repeating the cycle until you raise the platform all the way to the top.

Once you're done, the Black Widow will be captured! In the next scene, you'll climb up out of the hideout into the Interrnet Cafe and the museum curator will be standing here. She'll tell you to meet her at the museum. When you arrive, the curator will show you a secret about the museum. It has been quietly hiding many famous works of art from around the globe. You'll receive the medallion for finishing Counterfeit Island. Well done and congratulations.

Looked At Skullduggery This Weekend

Earlier this week I played the brand-new Skullduggery Island on Poptropica. I do not have a paid membership and so i was required to wait for it to be available for non-members which happened on Thursday. I played for a lot of time on Saturday and Sunday and I believe it's a fantastic adventure. It is really hard to get the doubloons though which I don't like. You can earn doubloons mostly by trading and you need to sail around to all the different islands to do that and visit the different trading posts which takes a lot of time. To get all the doubloons you need you have to make a lot of voyages between the different islands and that is tough at times. The one thing everyone should know is that you want to keep upgrading your boat. The bigger a ship you have the more cargo you can carry and the faster you will earn lots of doubloons. Bigger ships also come with more cannons on them so you'll have a better chance of defeating pirates and sea monsters. I still haven't beaten Captain Crawfish considering the fact that he's got a very large ship and I have not hired all of my crew yet. I read a good walkthrough for Skullduggery and it said to get the cargo master crew member first so that is what I did. The cargo master allows your boat to carry extra cargo so that you earn the money from trading considerably faster. I do think I am going to hire the cannon man next.

He Was Different on Mythology

Hey every one! There is a new ad building on Poptropica! It’s for the Percy Jackson movie on DVD. Zeus has lost his three items: flying shoes, a sheild, and an arrow; and wants them back. But Medusa is making it difficult. I cold have sworn that Zeus looked and acted much differently on Mythology Island. Perhaps there are two Zeusi?

Solving Poptropica Skullduggery Island

The most recent island quest in the popular online game Poptropica is called Skullduggery Island. It has been available for paid members of Poptropica in early access and will be released to everyone on June 17 2010. Skullduggery is the most challenging and complex quest released on Poptropica so far. This article covers the full Poptropica skullduggery walkthrough.

Getting Started

When you arrive by balloon, you'll be in Fort Ridley, which is where the first part of Skullduggery Island takes place. During this beginning part of the island, your goal is to find several items to help the villagers and solve the mystery of a strange note. When you finally complete this part, you'll get your 1st sailing ship and can check out a few other islands.

Travel down Main Street to the right and cross the covered bridge. On the far side, climb down into the stream and go left to get the Doubloon from the sand.

Go back up and over the bridge to the left. Next run over to the General Store and use the doubloon in your backpack to purchase a bag of chicken feed from the woman inside. Over the the right of the store, you'll spot a bunch of shelves. On the top is a broken mirror and you'll need to jump up and get it.

Next head outside the store and go to the guy with the chickens. Give him the bag of feed you just purchased. He will be really happy and will give you a chicken as a present.

Now go over the bridge to the right and you'll arrive at a corn field with a farmer outside. He'll say that the pests are eating all the corn and he can't feed his family. Use the chicken from your backpack and it will start eating all of the bugs. The farmer will give you a special candle as a gift of thanks.

Go far right past the Governor's house, to the sea edge and talk to the woman there whose husband is lost at sea.

Next go back up the hill and enter the Governor's house. There are two men over by the fireplace on the right. Speak to them and use the blue candle from your backpack to make the invisible parts of the document appear. The Governor will tell you about the Treasure Map and the need to defeat Captain Crawfish the pirate.

Now leave the mansion and run all the way to the left to where the fort tower is. Go up to the top and use the telescope up there. Move it around until you see a small raft on the horizon. Click on the broken mirror in the lower-left corner to send a signal to the raft and it will come to the dock.

A man will walk out onto the pier to meet you. He is the husband of the woman you talked to near the ocean. He gives you his ship, which is now crewed by a cabin boy and the old sailor from the fort.

Click on your small ship to Embark and then go to Dragon Cove, which is up and to the left of the main island. While you're sailing try to steer clear from the sea monsters and pirate ships. When you see salvage in the water, try to pick it up.

Disembark at Dragon Cove, home of Ship-Shape shipbuilders. A piece of the treasure map is hidden here. To get it, jump down into the water and stand on top of the stone. It will reveal a mallet. Push the crate with the fisherman sitting on top of it to the right as far as it will go and then use the mallet you just found while you stand next to the gong. After you ring the gong, fish will jump out of the water and because the fisherman is now sitting in the right spot, one will land on his hook. The fisherman will thank you and give you the map piece. Dragon Cove is the home of the shipbuilder and is where you can purchase upgraded ships which carry more cargo and have more guns. It's also where you'll find the shipwright, who can repair your ship while in battle. But you probably don't have enough doubloons yet, so skip them for now. New ships and the crewmembers are pretty expensive and you'll need to do a lot of trading between the islands before you can start upgrading. You can buy a small cargo with your doubloons, preferably Silk which is cheap here but more valuable elsewhere.

The next stop is Bouffant Bay, which is in the top-right corner. Pick up any salvage you spot along the way.

You can help the worker on the dock, but you won't have to have his clue. Go right until you see the island's trader, who will buy any salvage, or your Silk cargo from Dragon Cove at a premium. This trading post sells Medicine at a very cheap price so buy as much as you can while you are here. Now we're off to find the map piece. First, walk to the right until you arrive at a house with the hanging baskets. Leap up into the air and hit the third one first, then the first one, and finally the second basket. Once that is done, you'll find the hidden map piece. One of the buildings here, called Willard's Warhouse, holds the Cargo Master and having him on board your ship means you can carry fifty percent more cargo. He is also not affordable at the start. If you didn't buy the Medicine from the trading post yet, go get it now before you leave.

Now it's time to leave and sail to the next island, Parrot Port, which is south of Bouffant Bay. Sell your salvage and cargo, but there is no cargo to cheaply purchase here. Head inside Petey's Pirate Pub and you'll find the Navigator. When you hire her she increases the speed of your ship, but if this is your first trip around the islands, she's too expensive to hire for now. At upper left is a Cracker. Walk outside and return to the Trading Post. Here you'll see a Parrot and you should click on him. The parrot is kind of weird and tells you to jump into the sea and then to come back and try to find it. Go back to your boat and swim in the ocean, then find the parrot on the window sill of one of the buildings above the Trading Post. The parrot will tell you to clog the vent and he's talking about a chimney on top of one of the other buildings over to the right. Go stand on that chimney to stop the smoke from coming out. Now the parrot is at the palm tree at far right, and tells you to see the pirate in the tower near the shore, who is the parrot's owner. Head back to the left and you will find the tower near the dock where you arrived. The pirate is standing up top. Click on him and he'll tell you to return his parrot for a reward. Use the cracker you got from the pub to get the parrot to fly to the tower and then the pirate will give you the missing map piece.

The next port to visit is Golden Harbor, located to the South of Parrot Port. Golden Harbor is the home of the Golden Harbor Bank. You can borrow doubloons equal to your current net worth, and make larger profits with the capital. You can obtain a loan of doubloons from the back that costs 5% interest each day (days go by each time you sail to a new port) and you have to repay the loan within 20 days. There's also a hidden map piece in Golden Harbor and you get it by turning on three of the street lanterns in a specific pattern. The correct order to light the lanterns is to get the fifth one first, then the third one, then the fourth and followed by the second and first. The map piece will then fall down from the archway. We're almost ready to sail on but before you go, visit the trading post and purchase as much grain as you can.

Sail for the Pirate Outpost, directly left, and dock there. Find the trading post. Then sell all of your grain at a profit and buy as much spice as you possibly can. Up at the top of the island you'll find a building called the Corsair Cannonry. In the cannon shack is the Cannoneer, who you may wish to hire later. Leave the cannonry and jump up on the roof and then over to the top of the mast with the black flag that has a skull and crossbones. There is a small box called a cannon starter kit that lets you use the different cannon on the island. Jump down and to the left and you'll see a barrel of explosives. Push it down so that it falls into the water below. Swim it over to directly under the Golden Tooth of the rock skull. Go back to the cannon that was near where the barrel fell from the platform and click on it to fire. Hitting the barrel will shake loose the Golden Tooth and reveal the hidden map piece.

The Circular Trade Course: Sail back to Dragon Cove, straight up, and sell your Spice there. If you follow this simple clockwise trading route and buy and sell the same goods as you did on the first trip, you'll start to amass a lot of doubloons so that you can buy bigger ships and hire crew. The Dragon – Bouffant – Parrot – Golden – Pirate route is not required, but workable. There are no shortcuts, but your progress is much faster as you increase your ship size and speed.

After a while, you'll have enough money to purchase the biggest ship, the Phoenix Warbird. You'll need this ship and a full crew to defeat Captain Crawfish.q Sail to battle him off Skullduggery Island. After you sink his ship and defeat him, return to Fort Ridley and visit the Governor's Mansion. He will give you the location of the Buried Treasure and a Bone Shovel to dig it up.

Get back on your ship and sail to Skullduggery Island. Dock there and then go to the hill with the flag. Then walk six paces to the right, and use the bone shovel to dig up the treasure. After you dig up the treasure, Captain Crawfish and his dastardly pirate crew surprise you. With them is the Governor's aide who was working for Crawfish the whole time.

There's no fight here, however. Fortunately, your crew arrives just in the nick of time and captures Crawfish and his pirates. You then return to Fort Ridley to return the treasure to the island. As a reward, the Governor gives you the island medallion and you've finished the quest.

Satyr in Poptropica by poptropicasecrets

Poptropica Mythology Island Step-by-Step

  • You will arrive on Mythology Island on Main Street, just like you do in every island in Poptropica. You should head to the Museum of Olympus. There you will see the story of the rivalry of the gods and learn to identify some of the gods and goddesses of Olympus. Over on the right side, one of the statues (Poseidon) has a starfish on its face. Grab the starfish because you'll need it later.
  • Go outside. Next, walk to the right and leave the Main Street area to head to the Grove of Temples. Walk inside the Temple of the Muses. Go to the right side of the temple and there is a basket with free reed pipes. Take one. Then carry it back to the room with the statues and click on the statue of the woman holding a reed pipe. She'll teach you how to play a song on it.
  • Go back left to Olympus Village, and left again to the forest with the Tree of Immortality. Go up the markble steps in the middle and climb up the wooden boards on the tree.
  • Once you're in the tree you need to get to the upper right. You can climb on the red snakes and jump over the tree branches. You'll find a satyr standing on the tree up top. Click on him and he'll ask you to collect honey. You have a single minute to collect ten honey pots. Once you do, the satyr will show you the hidden path you need to use to reach the golden apple.
  • After you go grab the apple, Zeus will appear and he's quite upset. However he tells you he will give you immortality if you find 5 extremely important items which he wants. The items you need to find are listed on a scroll that Zeus leaves on the tree. The items you must obtain are a flower from the garden of the Sphinx, the ring from the nose of the Minotaur, a scale from the Hydra, a giant pearl, and one of Cerberus' whiskers.
  • Leave the tree and go back down to the base. You'll encounter the goddess Athena and she'll give you a warning about Zeus. She also promises to help you on your quest and tells you that you can use the olive trees you find for clues.
  • The next stop is the Garden of the Sphinx, which you'll find over the bridge to the left. The next part is to get the water in the aqueduct to flow to the dying flower by using the switches and gates up above you. When you're done, collect the flower, which is your first item. While you're here, jump up above the Sphinx and get the pomegranates from the tree.
  • Now walk to the left and you'll see a sign for the minotaur's cave. Use your reed pipe to play the notes shown on the door. The order is blue, blue, green, yellow, yellow, red, blue, green.
  • Go in and speak to the Minotaur, and enter his Cave Maze. Athena gives you a glowing thread to keep you from getting lost. Your first stop is the ghost of Pan. Head to the right past the weapons and then down and back up to the right. After a while, you'll arrive next to him. At the Pan bones, remove the bones so that the remaining ones spell out the letters TEN. Keep going and watch out for that scorpion. Just jump over him to get past. Go through the doorway and you'll arrive in annother room with the snake puzzle. To do this puzzle, you need to click on the red-eye snake whenever it appears. He disappears really quick, so this one is tough.
  • Take the Minotaur's ring and go back right, to Olympus Village. Go right, past the Grove of Temples to the lairs of Hades (below) and Poseidon (far right). You can do either one first, but in this walkthrough, we'll start with Poseidon's temple on the far right.
  • Walk inside the temple. Place the starfish that you found earlier on the Poseidon statue's face onto the altar inside.
  • Go through and cross the beach to meet Aphrodite, Athena's sister goddess. She has a test for you. It's like the game of Hangman and you have to guess the different gods. (The gods are Ares, Hermes, Aphrodite, Artemis, and Hestia.)
  • Go into the water to the left and dive down underwater near where you see the statue. There are extra oxygen bubbles, but the direct path is across the top, then down the right side, and left along the bottom. Soon you'll get to the entrance to the Hydra's lair. Before you go into it, get the giant pearl inside the clam that's above and to the right of the cave entrance.
  • Battle the Hydra: when each head shoots out twoards you, leap up and land right top of it. After you beat the Hydra, swim down below to get a scale from her body. You can swim back out to the top or just use Aphrodite's mirror to travel back to her (click on the heart).
  • Go to the outside of the temple of Hades and you'll find a man standing there. He will ask you to help clean up the mess around the temple and will pay you a drachma when you've completed the job.
  • Now go inside the temple of Hades and put the pomegranates you found in the tree on top of his altar. Now you can enter the Underworld. Jump down into the cavern and you'll fall down into the River Styx, where you'll see Charon and his boat.
  • You'll cross the river in Charon's boat and you need to avoid al the things that come flying at you. The best way to do that is to stand exactly where Charon is. Jump over or duck under the flaming skull and leap over the river alligator.
  • Once you arrive on the shore, use your reed pipe to play the song you learned in the museum. The notes you need to play are on the card that you got, but here they are: blue, green, yellow, blue, red, green. Once Cerberus falls asleep from the music, you can get his whisker. Just ignore the large boulder you see here because you'll need help from Hercules later to move it. Next use the magic mirror that Aphrodite gave you to go back to the Main Street area (Gate of Olympus).
  • You're almost finished with the quest now that you gathered all five of the items you needed. Go to the left to the base of the tree and Athena will be waiting. She will help you unscramble the special message that the five items contain. The message is, “Whoever wields the five sacred objects will rule all of Poptropica.” Zeus arrives and steals the objects from you, and Athena urges you to get Hercules to finally help. He agrees and you go to the Hades throne room using the mirror.
  • Hercules uses his incredible strength to push the boulder aside so that you can get into Hades' throne room. He'll wait outside while you go in to speak with Hades. Hades agrees to help, and gives you his crown.
  • The next stop is the realm of Poseidon. Use the magic mirror to teleport there. Once you arrive, Hercules will move the rock that is blocking the way to Poseidon's throne. Now go inside and speak with Poseidon, who will help you out by giving you his powerful trident so that you can battle Zeus.
  • Use the mirror to return to the Mount Olympus gate, where Hercules smashes open the padlock.
  • Hercules will travel with you to Olympus but he is stopped by the Medusa who appears and turns him into stone.
  • Using the drachma that you earned from cleaning up the temple to buy a bag of wind from Aeolus at the base of the mountain. Use the bag of wind to get onto the mountain and then climb and jump your way to the very top, where you'll see Zeus' throne. Now light up all four of the statues of Zeus. He will be summoned and then will fight you in the final battle.
  • This fight is difficult but simple in concept. You fly around, avoiding Zeus' attacks while you try and shoot him. You want to get Zeus' health meter to zero and it ticks down a notch each time you hit him. Your power is through the number of pink clouds you have underneath you. Each time Zeus hits you, a cloud disappears. Don't lose all of your clouds or Zeus will be triumphant and you will need to battle him again. You can gather the floating pink clouds during the battle to keep your supply up.
  • Just like the villain Betty Jetty (Superpower Island), Zeus will eventually start to glow and throw spinning energy spheres at you, and you must avoid them as well as the bolts. Also, when he is glowing you cannot hit him, so this is a good time back up and collect clouds.
  • It may take a while, but if you keep at it, you will defeat Zeus. After losing, Zeus gives you back the items from your quest. Athena shows up too and presents you with your island medallion. Congratulations, you have completed Mythology Island!

Once you have beaten Zeus, some things can't be done anymore, like the Hydra. You can go back to the realms of Poseidon and Hades, and many of the other areas. Our hero Hercules remains a statue forever, so if you want his costume, make sure you costumize him before he gets turned into one be the Medusa.

Skullduggery Island Coming Soon

There is a brand-new island coming to Poptropica and it is called Skullduggery Island. It will be the latest island in the game. We don't really know much yet about the new island, but the creators have been posting sneak peeks and stuff on their blog.

What we do know is that it will be a lot more complex than other islands and in addition to walking around you will have your own pirate ship and crew. You'll also fight monsters and trade to make money.

They're going to make Skullduggery Island available to members first in a special Early Access mode. This is exactly what they did with Mythology Island. The actual launch date has not been announced but it will probably be really soon.

At the beginning of May, 2010, Poptropica members received two special pre-release items for Skullduggery Island. The first was a sneak peek trailer movie of the new island. The other item is a really awesome pirate outfit. All paid Poptropica members get one and it includes some really nice elements, like an eye patch and a peg leg. Boy characters even get a full beard! The outfit has a special move, too. When you press the space bar, your pirate smiles and twirls the cutlass around.

Dominating the Events on Reality TV Island

Filed under: poptropica cheats — Tags: — negaxicha @ 6:21 am

One of the newest islands that you can play is Poptropica Reality TV Island. This island quest works very differently from many of the others. The first part is a storyline adventure just like most islands in Poptropica. But the second part is a competition on a TV Show and you try to beat the other contestants in all of the challenges. When you win each day's challenge, you get immunity can cannot be voted off the show that day.

Many of the challenges you have require some amount of skill and there are some good tips and tricks to win them. Also try watching the step-by-step video on this Reality TV Island Walkthrough

  • Balanced Diet – The trick here is to try and keep your mouse cursor at an equal distrance from the center as the brown dot is. But move to the opposite side of the center to balance things out.
  • Boulder Push – To win this one, just click on your left mouse button as fast as you can.
  • Coconut Grab – Timing your jumps is everything. You should practice this one and get the timing right. Also, try to go for the groups of three coconuts for the most points.
  • Geyser Guess – It's just a guessing game on this one. There's not really any strategy here.
  • Mountain Race – Try to stay close to the top. There's a good spot near the top where the rocks flying from the air will miss you and you only need to worry about the ones on the ground.
  • On the Line – It's all about staying in shallow water to get the most fish without wasting all your time.
  • Pole Climb – Just click on the pole to the left or right to avoid the falling coconuts. It really helps to stay in the middle.
  • Shot Put – First, click once when the angle is about 45 degrees. Then click again when the power meter is nearly full.
  • Shuffleboard – Select a long shot (long arrow) for the first shot, or bank it hard into one side to go around your opponents. Get close and don't shoot too hard.
  • Turtle Shell Toss – The others will seldom toss 20 pointers. Throwing at a 45-degree angle will guarantee three hits on the 20-point shell. (You can set your cursor at the center of the palm tree to get this aiming point.)
  • Totem Hop – When a totem starts to shake, you may have time to leap to another (click on the one you want to jump to). Avoid jumping to the tallest totems (center) as you can get “stuck” there.
  • Water Run – Jump the obstacles and avoid the boar. Fill your bottle COMPLETELY full so it will only take four trips (one less than full) to fill your container to 100%.
  • Hang Gliding – Stay near the top of the screen where you're always safe from the volcano eruptions and then just move if a bird comes flying near you.
  • Knockout – Each player takes three shots. Try to hit opponents who have the least damage to their plates, and pull the slingshot down to about the midway point for the bottom row and three-quarters for the top row.
