A major advantage of buying a used car is something known as depreciation. The term is used wherever the cars are sold or used car buyers shop. Yet, asked for a definition, many people struggle to come up with what, exactly, the word means.Simply put, depreciation is the loss of value of a car over time. Unlike a house, cars lose their value because they are used and the time passes. This means that the current value of a car is still below the price set when the car was purchased.In fact, all cars suffer depreciation – even those purchased recently. A common rule of thumb is that a brand new car, once driven out the dealer's lot, has lost about half its value.Therefore, a car purchased for $ 30,000 may be worth $ 15,000 later – even if the owner would still be making payments on a loan for the full price of the cost of new cars Vallee Blanche rises even further when funding is added to the image. In addition to the purchase price (much of which will depreciate quickly), the buyer of the new car will now pay interest payments are made on the new car. Instead of making payments on a less expensive method, previously owned car, however, the buyer of the new car makes payments (including additional interest) on the total purchase price of the car car.If held its value, which could be a wise investment. However, new cars, in particular, much cheaper. "The greatest amount of depreciation occurs in the first year," said Inder Jaisingh Falore of Nissan in Sunnyvale. While the depreciation evil buyers of new cars is a huge benefit for anyone considering a used car – even if the car is just one or two years. "Depreciation is the biggest advantage for the buyer of a used car," Jaisingh notes.Returning the new car someone has paid $ 30,000 for the purchase, the savings on a car hand, thanks to depreciation, are clear. Let's say that this new car is actually rented, and winds on a car park used only one or two years later. Chances are, the car is now available for purchase for $ 10,000 to $ 15,000 depending on model, mileage, wear and tear.Even financing, used car buyer is buying the same car for about half to one third of the car original price. Moreover, the used car buyer to payments (including interest) on the lesser amount. "Depreciation is really buy a used car is worth," says Jaisingh. "When cars are detached from their leases, especially domestic cars, residues [the amount of money that the car is worth] is so low. Imports are somewhat higher, he added, noting that in both cases, the cars are an option to consider.

when what he really said was that the observed data had a bit more than 5% chance of occuring if there was no warming
Actually, he said that, since the strangely arbitrary datapoint of 1995, the observed data had a 5% chance of occurring without any warming.
1995, of course, was deliberately picked by the questioner. As IICV said above, if you pick 1994, which would make more sense, as then it is 15 years to 2009, the last year of data, you don't have a 5% chance.
And actually use the full set of datapoints, and I don't mean 'disputable' datapoints like a thousand years old tree rings, but stuff actually measured by thermostats for the last 100 years, there is no chance at all that the temperature is just random fluctuation. (Well, okay, there's always some chance, but it's probably more likely for the entire planet to quantum teleport randomly to the orbit of Mars.)
Tellingly, the more educated “skeptics”, who could easily have corrected this misperception, did not.
Not only did they not stop it, but someone, with a knowledge of statistical modeling, deliberately picked this question, and the year to ask about, just so they'd get someone reputable to say words that they can twist into 'Global warming doesn't have a 95% chance of being correct'.
Which is then easily misunderstood backwards to having a 95% chance of not having warming, as apparently the OP here did.
The anti-AGW side is not operating entirely in ignorance. There are plenty of people on it who are…but there are actual scientists in it, with actual skills, that go and create misleading questions like this on purpose.
Chu went on to state the controversial cap-and-trade legislation remains a high priority for the administration. And while Zakaria did not bother with any of the legitimate concerns and objections, he questioned whether the current bill was large and drastic enough (read: stimulus bill):
"When you look at the cap-and-trade bill that is floating around Congress, is it strong enough to do what you think needs to be done?" Zakaria asked.
"et it going," Chu replied, alluding to alleged successes of the Clean Air Act. "Once you get it going and start making progress, very clever people start to dream up better solutions. So rather than wait around for a perfect bill that might be delayed for four or five years or forever, get it going."
Chu parroted Obama's rhetoric regarding the economic boon of alternative energy throughout the interview, but Zakaria was loath to challenge him on even the most basic economic realities of green-jobs – something Europe has come to see the hard way.
The skewed interview is typical given the magazine's past environmental coverage, where readers are left to assume any dissenting opinion is nonexistent.
As the public has grown more and more educated and less and less concerned over climate change, just over the past four years Newsweek has:
- Published a cover story equating "well-funded" climate "deniers" to the tobacco industry misleading the public on the dangers of smoking;
- Attributed extreme weather patterns in 2008 to climate change;
- After acknowledging an unpopular Al Gore cover story received a highly disproportionate number of negative comments, published a letter equating "deniers" to (what else) Holocaust deniers with nary a contrarian reader viewpoint published;
- Had senior editor Sharon Begley justify Newsweek's imbalanced reporting og climate change because giving the other side would be akin to granting space to moon-landing deniers;
- Finally admitted to its role in the global-cooling hysteria back in the 1970s;
- Published a proselytizing piece hailing Gore as an "Eco-Prophet" in late 2009.

I haven't been able to travel for a while so I travel a little through pictures I find in Flickr. I made a selection of my favorites and bookmarked them, just in case I could make the time to go.

I don't know about you but I love antique towns. Brand-new buildings don't have the same nature or appeal.
